In short
Overview
Pool service in Newmarket means a local crew handles openings, weekly water care, closings, and repairs so you can enjoy your backyard. The Pool Club serves Newmarket homeowners with pool openings, water care, pool closings, liner installation, safety covers, hot tub and swim spa care, pool repair, equipment installation and repair, leak detection, and pool renovation. We work across Aurora, Richmond Hill, Vaughan, Etobicoke, Newmarket, and King City.
What Newmarket Homeowners Get
Pool service in Newmarket starts with a clear answer: a professional handles the heavy lifting so the water stays safe and the equipment runs. For Newmarket homeowners, that means one call covers the seasonal work and the unexpected repairs. The crew arrives with the right tools, checks the system, and leaves a photo inspection report so you can see what was done.
Whether the pool is just waking up in spring or being tucked in for winter, the goal is the same: clean water and working equipment without the guesswork.

Communities and Landmarks Around Newmarket
Newmarket is made up of several historic communities, and The Pool Club serves homeowners across the town. Bogarttown is a formerly separate hamlet at the intersection of Mulock Drive and Leslie Street that has been surrounded by later development. Armitage was the first settlement of King township, named for its first settler Amos Armitage, and was taken over by Newmarket at Yonge Street south of Mulock Drive.
Garbut's Hill, Paddytown, Petchville, Pleasantville, and White Rose are defunct communities once located within the modern boundaries of Newmarket. The East Holland River runs through the town, and Bogart Creek weaves in from the Oak Ridges Moraine by way of Bogarttown. Tannery Creek joins the Holland River in south Newmarket after flowing through Aurora. The Pool Club serves Newmarket homeowners without claiming a visit to each community.

Pool Permits and Rules in Newmarket
Newmarket has specific rules for pools and hot tubs, and The Pool Club helps homeowners understand what applies. All swimming pools and hot tubs in the Town of Newmarket that can hold 0.6 metres (two feet) of water require an enclosure. A Swimming Pool Enclosure Permit must be obtained prior to the construction of the pool and must comply with the Town's Pool Enclosure By-law 2008-18.

Pool Season and Water in Newmarket
Newmarket has a humid continental climate with four distinct seasons featuring cold, somewhat snowy winters and warm, humid summers. Precipitation is moderate and consistent in all seasons, though summers are a bit wetter than winter. The main river in Newmarket is the East Holland River, and all other streams in the town are tributaries to it.
The water level in the reach of the East Holland north of Davis Drive is controlled from an unfinished Newmarket Canal lock now used as a weir. For pool owners, this means opening in late spring and closing before the first hard freeze. Water chemistry shifts with rain and temperature, so weekly testing keeps the balance steady. The Pool Club plans openings and closings around Newmarket's seasonal swings.

What Each Visit Covers
A pool service visit in Newmarket covers the basics that keep water clear and equipment running. Free chlorine or salt-cell output should be in the swimming range. pH should sit in the mid-7s so sanitizer works and surfaces do not scale. Calcium hardness is matched to the surface type. Before closing, balance water before the cover goes on, lower water to the level the cover and freeze line require, blow and plug lines so freeze expansion does not split pipes, and fit a winter cover so meltwater sits on the cover, not in the pool.

Our sister company
Built on the reputation of our sister company.
The Pool Club comes from the team behind Stone Landscaping & Pools, rated 5.0 on Google.
Jovian and Kyle installed our pool last year in South Etobicoke. We have very tight access to the backyard and other pool companies recommend a vinyl pool because of the tight access. We knew we wanted a fiberglass pool and these guys figured it out and got it done with a beautiful Mova Pool. The whole project took no more than 2 weeks. Excellent work with both pool and interlocking. Highly recommend!
Jovian installed our pool and surrounding patio last summer. Good experience from start to end. Solid communication and support throughout the project. Money well spent! (and It looks great!) Thanks, Jovian!
Jovian, Kyle, and their team did an outstanding job transforming our outdoor space. It was a major project involving the replacement of interlock, construction of fences, a deck, pergola, and bench, as well as planting and lighting. They worked quickly and efficiently, executing every aspect with exceptional skill and professionalism. Their communication throughout the process was excellent, keeping us informed and confident every step of the way. We couldn't be happier with the results — the craftsmanship and attention to detail truly exceeded our expectations. One of the best testaments to their work is that two of our neighbours have since hired Stone for their own backyard projects!
Thank you so much for making our front yard so inviting, and our backyard one we can now relax and enjoy. Jovian, was amazing to work with on the design, making changes as we requested them, and making suggestions where appropriate. The budget price for the project was fair, and the project came in on budget and ahead of schedule. Professional communications and reliable service. Thanks so much.
These guys are the best!!.. five stars!.. Jovian and his team are the greatest to work with.. they listened to how I envisioned the fence and they followed through… . Look no further for your outdoor desires .. they are professional, punctual, friendly and fun!..
Jovian and his team did an amazing job on our backyard patio, clearing out our small deck and replacing it with stone tiles across the width of our house. But he really outdid himself by building a stone bench around 13 feet long from the very basic description I gave him. Seats 6 people and grandkids love to run across the top.
Joe and his team came in and in one week completely transformed the look of our yard. Stone steps and armour stone as well as plantings and a new fence. We get compliments every day from neighbours and those passing by.
Jovian was one of the only contractors that explained to us the proper way of fixing our front stone steps and re-doing our flagstone with a wet lay. After hiring numerous contractors over the years, he was one of the few that I did not have to worry about making sure that the job was done properly, thus alleviating much stress that occurs during projects. He was professional, courteous and work was completed in a timely manner. I would highly recommend his services and will always use Stone Landscaping for anything I need done in the future.
