What Each Visit Covers
Each visit from The Pool Club is built around your pool's needs. For weekly care, free chlorine or salt-cell output should be in the swimming range. pH should be in the mid-7s so sanitizer works and surfaces do not scale. Calcium hardness should be matched to the surface type. For closings, balance water before the cover goes on.
For liner installation, measure length, width, depth, hopper, and corner type. Inspect walls and floor for voids before the new liner goes in.

Questions
Questions from King City Owners
Do I need a permit for a pool in King City?
Yes, a pool permit is required in the Township of King. You must first obtain a Zoning Certificate before applying for a Pool Permit. As of June 2, 2025, King Township Engineering Services moved to CityView Portal for online services related to Engineering Permits. Confirm current rules with the city before starting any pool project.
When should I open my pool in King City?
King City has a continental climate moderated by the Great Lakes, with warm, moist air from the south and cold, dry air from the north. The Oak Ridges Moraine affects precipitation levels. Opening time is usually late spring, after the risk of freezing has passed. The Pool Club can schedule your opening when the weather is right.
What does a pool opening include?
Pool vacuuming, additional balancing chemicals, and equipment repairs are extra.
How much is weekly pool service in King City?
Weekly Gold Complete is $89 per week, plus HST.
What water chemistry should I check in King City?
For weekly care, free chlorine or salt-cell output should be in the swimming range. pH should be in the mid-7s so sanitizer works and surfaces do not scale. Calcium hardness should be matched to the surface type. King City's precipitation from the Oak Ridges Moraine can affect these levels, so regular testing is important.
What should I do before closing my pool in King City?
Balance water before the cover goes on. King City's cold, dry air from the north makes proper closing essential to prevent freeze damage.
How do I measure for a new pool liner in King City?
Measure length, width, depth, hopper, and corner type. Inspect walls and floor for voids before the new liner goes in. Water is drained, beads released, and the old vinyl comes out without tearing the walls. Floor is raked, walls are patched, and coping bead track is cleaned. The Pool Club handles liner installation for King City homeowners.
Our sister company
Built on the reputation of our sister company.
The Pool Club comes from the team behind Stone Landscaping & Pools, rated 5.0 on Google.
Jovian and Kyle installed our pool last year in South Etobicoke. We have very tight access to the backyard and other pool companies recommend a vinyl pool because of the tight access. We knew we wanted a fiberglass pool and these guys figured it out and got it done with a beautiful Mova Pool. The whole project took no more than 2 weeks. Excellent work with both pool and interlocking. Highly recommend!
Jovian installed our pool and surrounding patio last summer. Good experience from start to end. Solid communication and support throughout the project. Money well spent! (and It looks great!) Thanks, Jovian!
Jovian, Kyle, and their team did an outstanding job transforming our outdoor space. It was a major project involving the replacement of interlock, construction of fences, a deck, pergola, and bench, as well as planting and lighting. They worked quickly and efficiently, executing every aspect with exceptional skill and professionalism. Their communication throughout the process was excellent, keeping us informed and confident every step of the way. We couldn't be happier with the results — the craftsmanship and attention to detail truly exceeded our expectations. One of the best testaments to their work is that two of our neighbours have since hired Stone for their own backyard projects!
Thank you so much for making our front yard so inviting, and our backyard one we can now relax and enjoy. Jovian, was amazing to work with on the design, making changes as we requested them, and making suggestions where appropriate. The budget price for the project was fair, and the project came in on budget and ahead of schedule. Professional communications and reliable service. Thanks so much.
These guys are the best!!.. five stars!.. Jovian and his team are the greatest to work with.. they listened to how I envisioned the fence and they followed through… . Look no further for your outdoor desires .. they are professional, punctual, friendly and fun!..
Jovian and his team did an amazing job on our backyard patio, clearing out our small deck and replacing it with stone tiles across the width of our house. But he really outdid himself by building a stone bench around 13 feet long from the very basic description I gave him. Seats 6 people and grandkids love to run across the top.
Joe and his team came in and in one week completely transformed the look of our yard. Stone steps and armour stone as well as plantings and a new fence. We get compliments every day from neighbours and those passing by.
Jovian was one of the only contractors that explained to us the proper way of fixing our front stone steps and re-doing our flagstone with a wet lay. After hiring numerous contractors over the years, he was one of the few that I did not have to worry about making sure that the job was done properly, thus alleviating much stress that occurs during projects. He was professional, courteous and work was completed in a timely manner. I would highly recommend his services and will always use Stone Landscaping for anything I need done in the future.
